Declarations from Philippians

Chapter 1: I declare that God, who began a good work in me, will continue His work until it is finished. My love overflows more and more. I keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. I know what really matters I live a pure and blameless life.

I declare that I am filled with the fruit of my salvation – the righteous character produced in my life by Jesus Christ – this brings much glory and praise to God.

I declare that I boldly speak God’s message without fear and with pure motives. My life brings honor to God, whether I live or die.

I declare that I live as a citizen of heaven, conducting myself in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. I have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for Him.

Chapter 2: I declare that I love others; we work together with one mind and purpose. I am humble, thinking of others as better than myself. I don’t look out only for my own interests, but take an interest in others, too. I have the same attitude as Jesus Christ.

I declare that I work hard to show the result of my salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. God is working in me, giving me the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

I declare that I do everything without complaining and arguing. I live a clean, innocent life as God’s child, shining like a bright light. I care about what matters to Jesus.

Chapter 3: I declare that I rejoice in the Lord. Everything is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I am one with Him. I am righteous through my faith in Him. I know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised Him from the dead. I want to suffer with Him, sharing in His death, sharing in His resurrection.

I declare that I continue to press on to possess that perfection, that maturity for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. I forget the past and look forward to what lies ahead. I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling me.

I declare that I hold on to the progress I have already made, and also press on for more. I am a citizen of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives.

Chapter 4: I declare that I am always full of joy in the Lord. I rejoice always. I am considerate in all I do. I don’t worry about anything; instead, I pray about everything. I tell God what I need, and I thank Him for all He has done. By doing this I experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything I can understand. His peace guards my heart and mind as I live in Christ Jesus.

I declare that I fix my thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. I think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

I declare that I am content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

I declare that I give financial help to those who preach the good news to me. In doing this God will bless my kindness. When I give financial gifts they are a sweet-smelling sacrifice that is acceptable and pleasing to God. God will supply all my needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to me in Christ Jesus.
