WORSHIP IN THE WORD

Worship in the Word:
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. Gen 1:1-3
There was no heavens, until You spoke
There was no earth, until You spoke
The earth was formless, until You spoke.
The earth was dark, until You spoke.
Oh the power of Your voice Lord, Oh the power of Your words.
Oh the power of Your love, as You speak Your heart to me.

Sometimes that looks like being in school, as He teaches me things I need to learn.
Sometimes that looks like discipline, as He corrects me.
Sometimes that looks like “No”, when I want “Yes”.
Sometimes that looks like “Later”, when I want “Now”.
Sometimes that looks like rest, when He knows what I need.
But it always looks like love, because that is who He is.
As I bask in knowing that I know, that God is always for me, fear melts away.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, And I shall observe it to the end. PA 119:33
Here I am again Lord, humbly waiting for You to teach me.
There’s such joy in my heart when I come before You, and our lesson begins.
You bring revelation and life through Your word.
You bring revelation and life through Your whispers into my thoughts.
Oh how I delight when You teach me Your ways for my life.
Obedience is easy when You’re the teacher.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Give me understanding, that I may observe Your law And keep it with all my heart. Ps 119:34
Lord, when You teach me things, understanding goes from my head to my heart.
When You give me understanding, there’s no wavering in unbelief.
When You give me understanding, it doesn’t matter what anyone else says.
When You give me understanding, I surrender all.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: The law of Your mouth is better to me Than thousands of gold and silver pieces. Ps 119:72
Oh Lord, the words You’ve spoken to me over the years are priceless.
No amount of money could buy the words You’ve spoken to me.
Your words to me Lord are what keeps me going, they give me life, hope, joy, purpose, guidance, love, and so much more.
Oh how Your words are bathed in love, priceless love.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. Ps 124:8
Oh what comfort there is, knowing when I come to You for help Lord, You welcome me with open arms.
Just as You made the heavens and the earth, so also You made me.
You alone are my help, for You alone know what I need, and when I need it.
Why look to another, when I have access to You.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Those who trust in the Lord Are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever. Ps 125:1
Only by trusting in You Lord, do I have the courage: to stand firm, be different, be ridiculed, be loud, be silent, keep going, forgive.
Only by trusting in You Lord, am I becoming who You created me to be.
Only by trusting in You Lord, am I unshakable in a world trying to woo me into sin.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: How blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways. Ps 128:1
Oh, how could I not fear You Lord?
How could I not give You the respect that You alone deserve?
How could I not worship You, who created the heavens and the earth?
How could I not love You with every fiber of my being, just for being You?
How could I not surrender my all You Lord, giver of endless blessings?
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: I wait for the Lord, my soul does wait, And in His word do I hope. Ps 130:5
Every morning I wait in anticipation, to hear the words that my Lord has just for me.
It truly is the highlight of my day, as I write them down, to remember forever.
Sometimes I give up too early, I don’t wait long enough. I will never know if I missed some treasure He had just for me. Oh, if I had just waited a little longer.
What joy fills my heart when I choose to wait.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: O house of Israel, bless the Lord; O house of Aaron, bless the Lord; O house of Levi, bless the Lord; You who revere the Lord, bless the Lord. Ps 135:19-20
Oh Lord, I bless You by giving You my heart.
I bless You by giving You the first part of my day, and the rest.
I bless You by obeying Your Word, and the words You speak to me.
I bless You by trusting You.
I bless You when I love, worship, serve, teach, rest, seek You first.
Oh, the desire of my heart Lord, is to bless you continually throughout my day.

My heart compels me to praise You name, and give You thanks.
Your lovingkindness and goodness guides me throughout my day.
Your lovingkindness and goodness comforts me, whenever I need it.
I wish there was a word that contained a million thank You’s, so I could say that, because a dozen or two just doesn’t seem to be enough.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Give thanks to the God of gods, For His lovingkindness is everlasting. 3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords, For His lovingkindness is everlasting. Ps 136:2-3
Apparently there’s millions of “gods” that people worship but there is none like You. You are the God of gods and the Lord of lords.
You are the King of kings and the Maker of all creation.
You alone are worthy of all praise, thanks, and worship.
You alone have my heart, my praise, my thanks. You alone have my total devotion, surrender and obedience.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: For though the Lord is exalted, Yet He regards the lowly, But the haughty He knows from afar. Ps 138:6
Oh how You adore the hearts of the humble, as you draw them into that special place in Your heart.
The humble, the lowly, the quiet, may go unnoticed by many, but not by You.
Pride is like a plague to You, therefore it’s like a plague to me, and I want no part of it.
Your love for Your children is like no other, oh how I love the way You love me.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. Ps 139:1&2
Oh Lord, no one, absolutely no one, knows me to the depths that You do.
You know me even better than I know myself
That might frighten some, but to me it brings comfort.
It’s so comforting knowing that You know my deepest thoughts, You know what has made me into who I am today, and You love me anyway.
You alone know how to lovingly guide me, into being all You created me to be
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: You scrutinize (observe, see) my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Ps 139:3

I’ve given You permission to correct me, discipline me if necessary, to keep me on Your chosen path, as that is the desire of my heart.
I’m so glad You never give up on me, no matter how many times I need correcting.
Oh how I love, that You love me so much, and care about every detail of my life.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, O Lord,
You know it all. Ps 139:4
Oh Lord, I love that I don’t have to find all the right words, to describe to You what’s on my mind.
You know, You know what’s in my heart, You know my thoughts.
I repent for some of my thoughts, as I know they are not pleasing to You.
I also bask in joy, as I know You know what’s in my heart, and how much I love You.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: You have enclosed me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot attain to it. Ps 139:5&6
Oh Lord, I am forever embraced in the comfort of Your arms, I feel so protected, so safe.
When I think of you Lord, creator of the universe, taking time to care for me, I’m undone.
Your love for me is like no other, and it’s so easy to surrender all I am to You.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul. Ps 143:8
As I sit with You each morning Lord, Your lovingkindness comes through loud and clear.
Sometimes there’s chaos in the morning, warring for my attention and time, and I have to choose who to listen to.
I choose You Lord, I choose You! Here I am to embrace Your love, Your words, Your guidance. Here I am to trust You with my day, and with my life.

Every day I wake up is a new day to Praise You Lord.
How many times will I praise You today, how many times will I tell You I love you, how many times will thank You? I don’t know, the day is still early.
A thought, or memory comes into my mind and I can’t help but praise You.
I look at creation and wonder how You could make such a variety of flowers, bushes, trees, and bugs, and just stop in wonderment and praise Your name.
The more I grow in intimacy with You and get to know You, the more I can’t help but praise You.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised, And His greatness is unsearchable. Ps 145:3
How You care Lord, about every detail of my life, how You never tire of me coming to You, how You make me feel like I’m Your special one, Your favorite, Your beloved, I can understand. But when I think of how You do that with billions of people at the same time is beyond my understanding.
My greatest desire is to know You more today than I did yesterday.
But I think it will take all of eternity to know how truly great You are.
What an amazing journey lies ahead for those of us who choose to continually seek You.

WORSHIP IN THE WORD: On the glorious splendor of Your majesty And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate. Ps 145:5
When I meditate on You Lord, on who You are, Your glorious splendor, goodness, and blessings, then love, joy, peace, and strength flood my spirit, soul and body.
When I choose to meditate on the things of the world, I feel unsettled, and my spirit, soul and body seems to deflate.
Oh Lord, I choose to meditate on You. I choose to meditate on You today, and every day, for the rest of my life. No one can stop me, no circumstance can stop me, the choice is always mine.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose hope is in the Lord his God, Ps 146:5
My hope is in You Lord, all others will disappoint from time to time, but You never do.
Some trust in money, some in government, family, friends, employers, employees, handouts from strangers, education, or even themselves.
You are always faithful, You always know what I need.
How truly blessed I am, to have my help and hope in You Lord.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Praising God for who He is and what He does. Psalm 146-147
God, You are so awesome.
You:

Provides rain for the earth
Makes grass grow
Gives to the beast its food
Favors those who fear Him
Strengthens the bars of your gates
Blessed your sons within you
Peace in the borders
Satisfies you with the finest of wheat
Gives snow
It really is so easy to praise You Lord.

Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all stars of light! Praise Him, highest heavens, And the waters that are above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created. Ps 148:1-5
Everything You created in the heavenly realms, praise You Lord, how could they not?
They know You and can’t keep silent. The more I get to know You, the more I can’t keep silent.
How You must delight in their sound, how You must delight in mine.
Just like the heavens are compelled to praise Your name, so am I.
May I never tire of praising Your name.

May the sea and all it contains, not praise You more than me.
May the animals and trees, not praise You more than me.
Oh Lord, may the praises of Your beloved children be just as sweet to You, as the praises from the earth and heavens.
I will do my part, I will praise You throughout my day. How can I not, when I read in Your Word of all Your wonders?
How can I not praise You, when every day You reveal a little more of Yourself to me?
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. Prov 2:6
Oh Lord, giver of wisdom, how I praise Your name.

Your love for Your children, for me, is magnified in Your discipline.
Because the desire of my heart is to love You more, You so lovingly show me how.
Forever be searching my heart Lord, forever be correcting me into the image of Your Son.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe. Prov 18:10

WORSHIP IN THE WORD: And many peoples will come and say, “Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; So that He may teach us about His ways, And that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go out from Zion And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Is 2:3
Oh Lord, the thought of You welcoming me to Your house, thrills me beyond words.
To know You is to receive Your teachings, and to walk in Your ways.

WORSHIP IN THE WORD: And one called out to another and said, “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of armies. The whole earth is full of His glory.” Is 6:3
A million “Holy, Holy, Holy’s” could not adequately describe Your Holiness Lord, yet I will continue to say to You my beloved, “Holy, Holy, Holy are You”.
Even in a world filled with chaos and hate, Your glory still abounds.
Your glory is where I want to live, Your glory goes with me, surrounds me, and pernitrates my heart.
Oh, to bask in Your glory, Your holiness and Your love.

Why is it Lord, that it’s so easy for fear to take hold of me? Do I forget for a moment who You are, and how much You love me?
Bring me to my senses Lord, when I allow fear to overshadow who I know You to be.
I choose to let Your truth speak louder than my fear.
I choose to let Your truth speak louder than my circumstances.
I choose to take You at Your word, and fear not.
I choose to keep my spirit, soul, and body focused on You, and who You are for me.

WORSHIP IN THE WORD: I am the Lord, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to idols. Is. 42:8

You alone, have all the answers.
You alone, are the one I turn to in times of need.

Oh Lord, that is my desire too.
You are so personal, so real, so amazing. It’s hard to grasp at times, the depth of Your desire for me to know You.
As I sit with You each morning, reading Your Word, discussing things with You, seeking You, and asking You to show me the desires of Your heart for me, YOU DO!
When I ask You what You want to say to me, YOU TELL ME!
Oh Lord, life with You is so amazing, nothing else compares.
The desire of my heart is to know You a little more today than yesterday; to believe You a little more today than yesterday, and to understand You a little more today than yesterday.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Bel has bowed down, Nebo stoops over; Their idols have become loads for the animals and the cattle. The things that you carry are burdensome, A load for the weary animal. Is 46:1
Oh Lord, I release my burdens to You, I don’t want to carry them around any longer.

Oh Lord, I want You to train me, just like You did Jesus.
Oh Lord, awaken my heart, my ears, my voice to Your thoughts, Your ways.
Oh Lord, I want to share with others what YOU want me to share, Oh how their lives will be changed if only I would.
Here I am Lord, morning after morning. Here I am, to learn just like my beloved Jesus.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: “I, I Myself, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you are afraid of mortal man, And of a son of man who is made like grass, 51:12
Oh Lord, how often have I ran to things other than You, to comfort me? Too numerous to count, that’s for sure.
You are the only one who brings lasting comfort 100% of the time, yet I’ve turned too often to the instant gratification and comfort, with an aftertaste of shame and guilt.
Yet there You are Lord, waiting with arms wide open to comfort me.
Oh that I would choose You first, when the stress and the evil of others and the world starts to get me down.
Who, where, or what I run to first for comfort, is my choice. Oh Lord, my desire is to run to you first every time.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear, Nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who acts in behalf of one who waits for Him. Is 64:4
Oh the benefits and blessings that await me when I wait for You Lord.
No one, or nothing, can keep me from waiting on and seeking my God.
I could be in a room full of people, yet still waiting on God.
I could be tending to my family and their needs, yet still waiting on God.
My favorite time, is first thing in the morning before anyone wakes up.
Yet You are so faithful God, You are always so faithful. No matter where Your children are, when they wait for and seek You, You take notice.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jer 1:5
Oh if we all only knew the thoughts You have towards us; if we only knew what You knew we were capable of through You.
Lord, in You it’s never to late to be who You created us to be.
I will continue seeking You, being taught by You, being positioned for Your purposes.
Oh Lord, my hope and desire is to breathe my last breath, having finished all you created me to do, when to formed me so many years ago.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Then I said, “Oh, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, Because I am a youth.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ Because everywhere I send you, you shall go, And all that I command you, you shall speak. Jer 1:6-7
How absolutely thrilling Lord, to go where You desire to send me.
And all my shortcomings mean nothing to You, as all You need is a willing vessel to work through.
Lord, I think You enjoy using people not qualified in the world’s eyes, to do extraordinary things through You, for Your kingdom.
This verse is so personal to me Lord, as sit back and marvel at what is possible through You.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Then the Lord stretched out His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me, “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. Jer 1:9

Your words have perfect timing.
Oh Lord, I yield my words to You, please replace them with Yours.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Can a virgin forget her jewelry, Or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten Me For days without number. Jer 2:32
Oh Lord, I want to make seeking You, meeting with You, and making time for You a daily habit.
Just as I make time to wash my face, brush my teeth, or put on clothes appropriate for where I’m going, I want to make time for You.
I won’t make waiting in line for my favorite morning drink more important than waiting for You.
I won’t make taking 20 minutes to decide which cloths to wear more important than taking 20 minutes to seek You
I won’t make talking/listening on the phone for 30 minutes, or spending 30 minutes on Facebook seeing what others have to say, more of a priority than taking 30 minutes to hear what You have to say to me.
Oh Lord, forgive me, for You alone are worthy of never being forgotten, or set aside.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Let the one who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who exercises mercy, justice, and righteousness on the earth; for I delight in these things,” declares the Lord. Jer 9:24
Oh Lord, I love how You delight so much in me knowing and understanding You.
But I want more Lord! Oh how my heart longs to know you more, to understand Your mercy, justice and righteousness more.
You are my priority Lord. Words are cheap unless backed up with actions, so I will make time for You every day.
Knowing You Lord is what brings joy to my day.
Understanding You unlocks so many unknowns.
Oh how I delight in You Lord, You are my life, You are my everything.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Righteous are You, Lord, when I plead my case with You; Nevertheless I would discuss matters of justice with You: Why has the way of the wicked prospered? Why are all those who deal in treachery at ease? 2. Jer 12:1
Oh how You welcome my concerns Lord, You never turn me away when I come to You.
You sit with me and listen as I bring matters of injustice to You to discuss.
You welcome me as I come to you frustrated with what’s going on in the world, and why You allow some things to go on and on.
I love how You remind me that You are God, that You have a plan, and You are worthy of my trust.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose trust is the Lord. I want to go and do as my heavenly Father leads, just like You did.
You truly are my role model Jesus, and how blessed I am to have You in my heart and in my life.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Many more believed because of His word; and they were saying to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One truly is the Savior of the world.” John 4:41-42
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in the same way. John 5:19
Oh Jesus, the desire of my heart is to be as close to Your Father as You were when on earth.
Was it easy for You Jesus? It’s not always easy for me.
But because You are my example, I know it can be done.
No matter how many times I’ve not succeeded in following Your example, I will continue to make it my goal in life.
What joy there is when I choose to do what my Father is doing, or to say what He says.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, so that all will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. John 5:22-23
All honor goes to You Jesus, to my Heavenly Father, and to His Spirit, my precious Holy Spirit.
You are a packaged deal, there is not one without the others.
Oh how blessed I am to know all three, my beautiful triune God.
How blessed I am to hear You when You speak, because that is Your desire.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Jesus then took the loaves, and after giving thanks He distributed them to those who were reclining; likewise also of the fish, as much as they wanted. John 6:11
Oh Lord, You are not a God of barely enough, You are a God of plenty.
Why do I too often ask for just barely enough, when You are a God of abundance?
Your compassion, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and amazingness never ceases to touch my heart.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: So Jesus, aware that they intended to come and take Him by force to make Him king, withdrew again to the mountain by Himself, alone. John 6:15
Oh Lord, You knew what You needed, time alone with Your Father, and You made it happen.
You didn’t spend every waking minute teaching and ministering to others.
You didn’t allow the praise and desire of others to change Your plans.
Oh how I admire Your tenacity to continually be listening and obeying Holy Spirit’s leading.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.” John 14:21
Oh Lord, how can I show You I love you? Obedience, plain and simple.
I don’t want to just say, “I love You Lord”, I want to show it.
Every day Lord, I choose to obey You, and to obey Your Word.
When I mess up, You forgive me, because that’s who You are.
The desire of my heart is to read Your Word, so I know what You desire me to do, and then do it.
You alone Lord deserve my obedience, my love. You alone are worthy of that sacrifice every day.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 17:3
Oh Lord, it thrills my heart that you want me to know You.
As I seek You, You reveal more of Yourself to me.
As I go about my day, You open my eyes and heart to know You more.
You, creator of everything, seek relationship with “me”, that is so awesome and humbling.
Knowing someone takes time, engaging, communicating, effort, willingness, and tenacity.
Knowing You Lord, also takes a willingness to look stupid when you’re talking to someone who no one can see.
Whatever it takes to know You more, I will do, as my heart compels me too.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and as far as the remotest part of the earth. Acts 1:8
Oh Lord, I’m so grateful for Holy Spirit.
You never planned for us to do what You’ve called us to do in our own strength.
You planned all along that we would walk in power “when” Holy Spirit comes upon us.
Holy Spirit, You are so amazingly versatile in what You do, and how You manifest.
Holy Spirit, here I am, arms wide open and heart surrendered, ready to receive Your power anytime, anywhere.
What a loving God You are, to bless us with Your Spirit, to be with us all the time.
WORDS OF WORSHIP: You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of gladness with Your presence.’ Acts 2:28
Oh Lord, in Your presence is all we ever need.
No amount of money can buy what we can receive in Your presence.
Forgive me Lord, for choosing at times to spend more time in the presence of others, without even spending any time, purposely in just Your presence.
It’s in Your presence that You make known to me, not only the path of my life, but so many other things I need to know.
Oh what pure delight there is, in Your presence Lord.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Now as they observed the confidence of Peter and John and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed, and began to recognize them as having been with Jesus. Acts 4:13
Oh Lord, I want to be recognized as being with You.
I want my life today to different, because I’ve been with You.
Jesus, You give confidence to those who have been with You.
Oh Lord, my being with You is all that’s needed, for my life and those around me to be forever changed.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: But some men from what was called the Synagogue of the Freedmen, including both Cyrenians and Alexandrians, and some from Cilicia and Asia, rose up and argued with Stephen. But they were unable to cope with his wisdom and the Spirit by whom he was speaking. Acts 6:9-10
Oh Lord, I love how You equip Your beloveds children.
I marvel at the extent You go to on a regular basis, to prepare us for what You’ve called us to do.
When I choose to allow Holy Spirit to speak through me, miracles happen, how can they not?
Oh Lord, life with You is certainly not boring.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.. Acts 13:28-29
Freedom comes through You alone Lord.
Freedom to rest in the midst of chaos.
Freedom from a life of sin.
Freedom from guilt and shame.
Freedom to be all God created me to be.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit. Acts 13:52
Oh Lord, You are the source of joy.
You are the source of being continually filled with Holy Spirit.
You are the source of knowledge and wisdom.
You are the source of peace.
You, and You alone are the source for everything I need in life.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Rom 5:8
Your love God, Your love is like no other.
We don’t have to get our act together before You love us.
You loved, when most everyone around You at the time hated You.
You continue to love, every hour of every day.
How can I not love back someone who loves like this?
Oh Lord, the desire of my heart, is to grow in Your love.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom 6:23
Money can’t buy Your eternal life, blessings, love, joy, peace, or knowing You personally.
It’s all Your precious gift to those who believe.
Oh Jesus, what a precious gift You are to me.
Loving You, knowing You is life to me.
And oh Lord, the eternal life You have planned for us who believe, WOW!
And this precious gift of eternal life, starts when we believe in You Jesus. It just doesn’t get much better than that.

WORSHIP IN THE WORD: And later Isaiah spoke boldly for God, saying, “I was found by people who were not looking for me. I showed myself to those who were not asking for me.” Rom 10:20
Oh Lord, I love this verse, I love this about You.
There is so much hope in this verse for unsaved loved ones.
I just marvel at Your goodness, You are so amazing.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe. 1 Cor. 1:21
Oh Lord, just like money can’t buy Your blessings, neither can education buy knowing You.
You Lord, have seen to it that anyone who wants to know You can.
You have seen to it that the poorest of the poor has the opportunity to know more about you than all the scholars in the world.
Knowing You Lord, really knowing You, will be an eternal journey of pure bliss.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” 1 Cor 2:9
Oh how exciting it is for those of us who Love our Lord.
Every day is filled with glorious uncertainties and possibilities from You, our beloved Father.
Oh Lord, You bring hope, life, dreams, and endless possibilities to me every day of my life. How truly blessed I am.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: When we tell you these things, we do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit’s words to explain spiritual truths. 1Cor 2:13
What a blessed way to live Lord.
What a blessed way to teach, preach, and pray. Your words, not mine.
Oh what power is released when we speak only what Holy Spirit gives us.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. 2 Cor 4:16
Even though my body ages daily, and some days it seems like more than others, my spirit is renewed in You Lord.
Many times as I sit with You Lord, I feel like a little girl receiving life in my spirit.
At times my body is doing a “happy dance” of joy, even while sitting, as You renew my spirit with more of You.
My spirit never ages with You Lord, it just gets younger, fuller, more excited, more joyful, hopeful, peaceful, and more full of life.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. 2 Cor 4:18
So Lord, I will choose to fix my gaze upon You, and not the sickness and despair that is all around me.
I choose to fix my gaze on the things of You, that cannot be seen with my eyes.
So I will fix my eyes on Your love, peace, joy, blessings, promises, comfort, eternal life, freedom, strength, purpose, truth, and glory.
I choose to fix my eyes on Your face Jesus, before looking around me.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: The son of the slave wife was born in a human attempt to bring about the fulfillment of God’s promise. But the son of the freeborn wife was born as God’s own fulfillment of his promise. Gal 4:23
Oh Lord, Your promises are perfect, and Your timing is perfect.
Oh Lord, I surrender to You, I want You to fulfill Your promises to me in Your perfect timing, and I will stop trying to make it happen in my timing.
I trust You Lord, You are faithful, Your timing is perfect, and I will rejoice.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence. Eph 3:12
Oh Lord, it’s hard to imagine just how much You love me.
You welcome me with open arms into Your presence anytime I want.
No fear, no shame, no embarrassment, no head down, but confidently I come to You.
You always welcome me, You never turn me away.
In You Lord, in Your presence is my heart’s desire, and that where I want to stay.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Eph 5:1
Just like small children usually imitate their parents, or the ones who raise them, so I want to imitate You Lord.
You tough are like no earthly parent, for You are perfect, and You are always worthy of being imitated.
To truly imitate You, I need to spend time being around You.
It is pure joy learning to imitate You Lord, as I get to know You more and more.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him. Col 3:10
Oh Lord, I marvel again at how deeply You want me to know You, and how deeply you want me to be like You.
Oh how I wish putting on my new nature were as easy as putting on a sweater, and just not taking it off.
I wonder what goes on in Your mind Lord, when you see my new nature being put on and then taken off so often.
But You never scold or shame Me Lord, You are so full of love and encouragement.
Your love continues to put within me a deep desire to know You more, and become more like You every day.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: You know how badly we had been treated at Philippi just before we came to you and how much we suffered there. Yet our God gave us the courage to declare his Good News to you boldly, in spite of great opposition. 1 Thess 2:2
Yet God, yet God, yet God!
No matter our circumstances, yet God gives courage.
No matter our pain, yet God gives courage
In You Lord is the answer to my need, right when I need it.
Yet God’s love, yet God’s peace, yet God’s strength, yet God’s courage, yet God’s freedom, yet God’s righteousness, yet God’s truth, it’s not over until God says it’s over.
Oh Lord, You are just so amazing, and worthy of my love and faithfulness in trusting You.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Indeed, you already show your love for all the believers throughout Macedonia. Even so, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you to love them even more. 1 Thess 4:10
Oh Lord, Your love for me is endless.
And Your desire for me, is to love others more.
I can’t do this by myself Lord. Yet the more I love You, and the more I allow Your love to flow through me, the more I can love others.
Oh the possibilities, when I allow Your love to consume me.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Heb 11:6
Oh Lord, the desire of my heart is to have complete faith in You, always and no matter what.
Why? Because You’re God, who better to trust and have faith in?
It baffles my mind God that You want to reward me, for doing what thrills my heart, and that is seeking You.
Oh how I praise Your name, for being so generous with Your blessings and your rewards.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: By faith these people overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them. They shut the mouths of lions, quenched the flames of fire, and escaped death by the edge of the sword. Their weakness was turned to strength. They became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight. Women received their loved ones back again from death. Heb 11:33-35
Wow God, when I have faith in You, absolutely anything is possible.
Forgive me Lord when I forget, just how amazing and faithful You are.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear (reverence) and awe. Heb 12:28
Oh Lord, the desire of my heart is to worship You the way You want me to.
Holy Spirit, I surrender to Your leading when I worship my God.
Oh God, I want to please You with my worship; teach me to please You.
You are so worthy of my whole spirit, soul and body worshiping You the way You desire, worshiping You in holy reverence and awe.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang: “Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.” Rev. 5:13
Oh Lord, what a glorious day that will be.
I can’t even imagine the sound of every creature singing praises to You.
I know I don’t understand all that will happen, but wow, I sure look forward to this.
You are so worthy Lord of such honor and praise.
WORSHIP IN THE WORD: They sang, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength belong to our God forever and ever! Amen.” Rev 7:12
