Declarations from Romans
 
Chapter 1:  I declare that I live by faith. I worship God alone, who is worthy of praise.
 
Chapter 2: I declare that God’s kindness turns me from my sin. I seek after the glory, honor, and immortality that God offers.  He showers me with glory, honor and peace because I do good.
 
I declare that God’s Spirit has changed my heart, and my heart is right with God. I seek my praise from God, not from people.
 
Chapter 3: I declare that I trust God. He is true and he is faithful. I am made right with God by placing my faith in Jesus Christ. God, through His kindness, declares me righteous.
 
Chapter 4: I declare that I am counted righteous, not because of what I do but because of my faith in God, who forgives my sins. I do not waver in believing God’s promises to me.
 
Chapter 5: I declare that I rejoice when I run into problems and trials, knowing that they help me develop endurance, strength of character, and hope of salvation. God loves me so much that He gave me the Holy Spirit to fill my heart with His love.  I am a friend of God.
 
I declare that I have right standing with God resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ.
 
Chapter 6: I declare that I joined Jesus in His baptism, and I joined Him in His death.   Now I live my life raised from the dead, just like Jesus. My old self was crucified with Christ, sin has lost its power in my life.
 
I declare that I give myself completely to God. I live under the freedom of God’s grace. I choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living.
 
Chapter 7: I declare that I produce a harvest of good deeds for God. I live in the Spirit at all times. God’s laws are spiritual and good. The only person who can free me from my sinful desires is Jesus Christ.
 
Chapter 8: I declare that I do not walk in condemnation. Because I belong to Jesus, and follow the Holy Spirit, I am free from the power of sin. Because I am controlled by the Holy Spirit, I think about things that please Him, and this leads to life and peace.
 
I declare that I received God’s Spirit when He adopted me as His own child. Together with Jesus, I am heir to God’s glory. Because I share in His glory, I am also willing to share in His suffering.
 
I declare that the Holy Spirit prays for me with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. He pleads for me in harmony with God’s will. I know that God causes everything to work together for my good because I love Him. God chose me to become like Jesus, and
He gave me His glory.
 
I declare that God is for me, so who can dare be against me? Jesus is sitting at God’s right hand, pleading for me. Absolutely nothing can ever separate me from His love. Despite any troubles that come my way, overwhelming victory is mine through Jesus Christ, who loves me.
 
Chapter 9: I declare that I trust in God, because of this I will never be disgraced.
 
Chapter 10: I declare that because I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, and I am saved. God gives generously to me as I call on Him.

Chapter 11: I declare that I have found God’s favor. I receive the blessings God has promised Abraham and his children. I trust in God’s kindness; and share in His mercy. I trust the decisions He makes.
 
Chapter 12: I declare that I worship God by giving Him my body, as a living and holy sacrifice.  My desire is for God to transform me into a new person by changing the way I think. Through this I will learn to know God’s will, which is good, pleasing and perfect.
 
I declare that God has given me gifts, and I use them to bring glory to Him. I don’t just pretend to love others, I really do. I hate what is wrong and hold tightly to what is good. I honor others. I work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.
 
I declare that I am patient in trouble, and never stop praying. When God’s people are in need, I am ready to help them. I am eager to show hospitality. 
 
I declare that I bless people who persecute me, or talk bad about me. I pray that God will bless them. I am happy with those who are happy, and I weep with those who weep. I live in harmony with others.
 
I declare that I do things in such a way that everyone can see I am honorable. I do all I can to live in peace with others. I never think that I am better than anyone else. I conquer evil by doing good.
 
Chapter 13: I declare that I submit to my government, I will not rebel against it. I give respect and honor to those who are in authority. I love my neighbor as myself. I close myself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.
 
Chapter 14: I declare that I live to honor the Lord. I live in such a way that I will not cause another believer to stumble and fall. I live a life of goodness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. I aim for harmony in the church and I build others up.
 
Chapter 15: I declare that the word of God gives me hope and encouragement as I wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled.  I accept others just as Christ has accepted me so that God will be given glory.
 
I declare I am filled completely with joy and peace because I trust in God. I overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
 
I declare that I present the Good News of Jesus Christ by the power of miraculous signs and wonders and by the power of God’s Spirit.
 
Chapter 16:  I declare that I am wise in doing right, and I am innocent of any wrong.
