Declarations from 1 & 2 Timothy

1 Timothy

Chapter 1: I declare that I am filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith.

Chapter 2: I declare that I pray for all people and for those in authority, like the president and governor. I ask God to help them; I intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.

I declare that Jesus Christ died for my freedom; therefore I walk in freedom every day. Everywhere I go to worship I lift my hands to God, free from anger and controversy. I live my life in faith, love, holiness, and modesty.

Chapter 3: I declare that I conduct myself in a worthy manner, knowing people are watching me. I am faithful, I exercise self-control, I live wisely, and I have guests in my home. I am gentle, I don’t quarrel with others, and I don’t drink too much. I am honest, I have a clear conscience, and I don’t gossip.

Chapter 4: I declare that I am a worthy servant of Jesus Christ; I am nourished by the message of faith and the teachings from the Word of God. I train myself to be godly. I am an example to all believers in what I say, in the way I live, in my love, in my faith, and in my purity.

Chapter 5: I declare that I speak respectfully to all people. I take care of my family members who are in need.

Chapter 6: I declare that I walk in true godliness and contentment; I do not crave money. I pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.

I declare that I trust in God, who richly gives me all I need for my enjoyment. I use my money to do good. I am rich in good works and I am generous to those in need. I am always ready to share with others. Through this, I experience true life.

2 Timothy

Chapter 1: I declare that God has not given me a spirit of fear and timidity, but He has given me a spirit of power, love, and self-discipline. I am never ashamed to tell other about my Lord, Jesus Christ. Jesus saved me and called me to live a holy life, and I do so. I declare that through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives in me, I carefully guard the precious truth that has been entrusted to me.

Chapter 2:  I declare that the word of God cannot be chained. I am willing to endure anything if it will bring salvation and eternal glory in Christ Jesus to those God has chosen. I declare that I keep myself pure; I am a special utensil for honorable use. My life is clean, and I am ready for the Master to use me for every good work. I run from anything that may cause me to lust. Instead, I pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. I enjoy being with other believers with my same standards.

Chapter 3: I declare that I embrace the power that can make me godly, even if it means I may suffer persecution. I rely on Scripture to teach me right from wrong and how I should live.

Chapter 4: I declare that I am prepared to preach the word of God. I have a clear mind in every situation, and I am not afraid to suffer for my Lord. I am diligent at telling others about the Good News, and I carry out the ministry God has given me.
